Virgin Atlantic’s Heathrow Clubhouse Gets Major Upgrade

Virgin Atlantic has launched a redesigned Clubhouse at London Heathrow, introducing a range of new amenities including a cinema, work pods, and a spa. This transformation marks the first stage of a broader overhaul aimed at enhancing the passenger experience.

Enhanced VIP Experience in the Royal Box

Among the latest additions is the Royal Box, a secluded VIP area inspired by theatrical grandeur. The space features soft red suede sofas and a ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’—a central table offering artisanal sweets and champagne. It provides an exclusive retreat with unobstructed runway views.

Work Pod Studios for Productivity

Two dedicated Work Pod studios have been installed, equipped with modern desks, integrated power outlets, and illuminated status indicators. The design incorporates studio-style artwork and a minimalist aesthetic to foster focus and efficiency.

Revamped Cinema Area

Virgin Atlantic has reimagined the Cinema as a cozy, immersive space. Enhanced acoustics, royal blue armchairs, and red seating areas create a relaxed atmosphere. The upgraded setup also includes charging stations, TV access, and Bluetooth headphones for a seamless entertainment experience.

Wellness Zones for Relaxation

For those seeking tranquility before their flight, two temporary wellness zones now operate at the Clubhouse. These include a complimentary Somadome session, a groundbreaking immersive wellness dome, available until 31 May. Additionally, Secret Spa offers express massages, facials, and manicures through 30 April.

Design Elements and Amenities

The lounge now features a variety of seating options tailored for different needs, from business travelers to couples. Design motifs draw from Vivienne Westwood’s iconic style and London’s transport heritage, with brass accents and red color schemes. Custom lighting and integrated greenery elevate the ambiance, while art installations by UK-based creators add a cultural touch.
