Murder Arrest Over Primrose Hill Stabbing
Emergency responders were dispatched to the upscale north London district of Primrose Hill on Tuesday, where they discovered 21-year-old Finbar Sullivan in a critical condition. Sullivan was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the call. A 27-year-old man has since been detained on suspicion of murder, with a 25-year-old individual also arrested for allegedly aiding the perpetrator. Both suspects were taken into custody on Friday and are currently being questioned by the Metropolitan Police.
Investigation Continues
Det Insp Andy Griffin, representing the Met Police, expressed solidarity with Sullivan’s family during this challenging period. “Specialist teams are providing ongoing support to the family as they navigate this heartbreaking situation,” he stated. While two arrests have been made, Griffin emphasized that the investigation remains active, with officers working tirelessly to identify all parties involved.
“Although we have made two arrests, my officers continue to work around the clock to trace everyone involved,” Griffin added. He also acknowledged public assistance, urging anyone with insights or footage from the area on the day of the incident to come forward. “Residents can anticipate a heightened police presence as dedicated local officers maintain patrols in Primrose Hill and surrounding neighborhoods,” he concluded.
